33rd Aviation Hall Of Fame Induction Dinner
May 24, 2006 at Fiesta Ballroom.  Keynote speaker is Greg Olsen who paid $20 million to ride into space. Inductees: Donald Luscome, James Plinton, Jr., George Vaughn Jr., Lowell White.

The keynote speaker at the New Jersey Aviation Hall of Fame 33rd Annual Induction Dinner on May 24th was Greg Olsen. Mr. Olsen is the New Jersey scientist who paid $20 million to ride into space and was the third private citizen to orbit the earth on the International Space Station (ISS). [Story]

Santa Arrives by Helicopter
Santa arrived via helicopter at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday  Dec. 10, 2005.  Santa and his elve were escorted  to the Aviation Hall of Fame by the Port Authority Police where they met and greeted all of the children with candy and small presents.  This annual event is sponsored by the NJ Aviation Hall of Fame at Teterboro Airport. The AHOF has announced the 2005 Inductees -- Cosgrave, DeStafane, Estell and Gillis.  They will be presented their bronze plaques at the 32nd anual induction dinners on May 26, 2005 at the Fiesta.



AHOF Celebrates Black History Month 2005
A special exhibit of New Jersey African-American aviation men and women who have achieved recognition for their accomplishments is now on display in the New Jersey Aviation Hall of Fame & Museum at Teterboro Airport. [Story and photos]

On December 17, 2003 at 1:30 p.m., the NJ Aviation Hall of Fame, (with the Hudson Valley Stamp and Historical Society) -- held a special ceremony commemorating the 100th Anniversary of the Wright Brothers first sustained powered flight.  The Postal Service  set up a temporary post office where the Wright Brothers stamp was unveiled, and a special pictorial cancellation "The First Powered Flight" was issued.  [Story & photos]

Open Cockpit Day
Four year old Katelyn was our "Tour Guide" during the Aviation Hall of Fame's Open Cockpit Day held April 26, 2003 at Teterboro Airport. The Museum opened the cockpits of selected aircraft for visitors of all ages to sit in and pretend to fly.    [Story]
